About The Display

This year’s display will feature 60,000 individual channels controlling around 50,000 RGB LED lights. It will use 10km of copper wire to connect everything together and will take about 450 hours to program, setup and pack down.

Why Do We Do It?

At Life Ministry Church we believe we are called to be a blessing to the community in which we live. The light display is one way we can do this by providing a safe, pleasant environment for families to come and enjoy a free, unique display during the special season of Christmas.

We also want to acknowledge the true meaning behind Christmas, which is so often lost in the modern day commercialism of the Christmas season. We want to remind people that Christmas is, above all else, about the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago.

Supporting A Great Cause

This year we will once again be raising money for Amari Community Development Organisation Uganda, who support orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda, Africa. Last year we raised a fantastic $1300.00 thanks to your generosity, and this year we are hoping to beat that again! Last year’s funds went towards the installation of a water pump and water pipeline to provide pressurized water around the Amari school compound for use by all the staff and students. Please visit www.amari.org.au for more information about this project and to see more of the amazing work Amari is doing to change lives.
